Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to build production web systems with strong ownership across frontend and backend. You will shape technical design, improve reliability and performance, and collaborate across teams to deliver accessible experiences.

Responsibilities include designing full-stack solutions, building TypeScript/React UI features, implementing Kotlin backend services, defining interfaces with gRPC/protobuf and REST, and optimizing data in DynamoDB and PostgreSQL

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-stack web engineering shipping production systems.
• Strong TypeScript with React; backend Kotlin/Java experience ok.
• Experience building APIs with gRPC, protobuf, HTTP/REST.
• Data modeling in DynamoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Proficient in AWS, containers, and CI/CD workflows.
• Solid testing across unit, integration, and end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Design full-stack solutions shipped to production.
• Build TS/React UI with accessible patterns and state management.
• Implement backend services using Kotlin on the JVM.
• Define service interfaces with gRPC/protobuf and REST.
• Model and optimize data in DynamoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Improve performance across browser, latency, and data access.
• Ensure quality with unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Operate within AWS, containers, and CI/CD workflows.
• Lead technical design discussions and cross-team alignment.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes.
