Athenaworks in Chile is seeking a Mid-Senior Full-Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs. You'll collaborate across teams on features end-to-end, from database schema to frontend implementation, embracing AI-assisted development.

Formación

• 4+ years of professional software development experience with full-stack capabilities.
• Proficiency in backend development with Java or Python.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and schema design.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services (SQS, SNS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
• Experience building web apps with React and TypeScript.
• Solid frontend testing experience (Jest or Cypress).
• Experience leveraging AI tools for development (Cursor, ClaudeCode, Codex).
• Excellent English communication skills in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate to create technical design recommendations for new features.
• Own features from conception to deployment including DB schema and API development.
• Implement unit, integration, and functional tests across the stack.
• Participate in code reviews for frontend and backend code.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the stack.
• Troubleshoot issues and work across the system as needed.
• Utilize AI tools to boost development efficiency and CI/CD optimization.
