Evalueserve, a global information services firm, is expanding its Data Analytics team in Viña del Mar, Chile. The group focuses on developing Data Science Solutions using machine learning, AI, real-time analytics and advanced visualization technologies to respond to evolving demands.

We seek a Data Analytics professional with 3+ years of experience, proficiency in Python or R, and familiarity with PowerBI and ETL processes.

Responsabilidades

• Support new and ongoing Data Analytics projects.
• Data management using ETL and data mining tools.
• Consult and collaborate with client stakeholders to identify requirements.
• Build, validate and deploy Statistical Models and Machine Learning Models.
• Present project results in an insightful manner to clients using PowerBI, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Quality Assurance – ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory and privacy requirements.

The position will work in the Data Analytics team, with a focus on developing Data Science Solutions. The team focuses on agility and creativity to respond to the rapidly changing demands and technology in the field of data analytics through leveraging machine learning, artificial intelligence, real-time analytics, and advanced visualization web technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support new and ongoing Data Analytics projects
• Data Management using ETL and data mining tools, such as Python or R, for data extraction and aggregation
• Consult and collaborate with client stakeholders to identify, define and implement business and functional requirements
• Build, validate and deploy Statistical Models and Machine Learning Models
• Present project results in an insightful manner to clients using tool such as PowerBI, Excel, Power Point
• Ability to work independently and translate desired project goals into sequential steps to be executed through an analytical process
• Quality Assurance – Ensure integrity of data processing and reporting through rigorous attention to detail and validation of data, including adherence to all regulatory, privacy compliance and security procedures
• Business Focus – Understand the specific and tangible benefits on how project efforts support the business line and be able to fully understand business objectives and underlying drivers.
• Knowledge Management and Documentation, creating end-user documentation and training for developed reporting tools
• Support team leads in the development and training of junior analysts.

What You Bring To The Role

• Minimum 3 years of experience working on data science related projects with exposure to direct client interaction
• Knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Python or R, is a must
• Experience with reporting tools, such as PowerBI, is good to have but not mandatory
• Familiarity on development of algorithms and macros to perform automations
• Knowledge of Data Science applications such as cluster analysis, text mining, correlation analysis
• Experience or familiarity with Agile project methodologies.
• Ability to articulate business problems/scenarios to peers and partners. Also, requires the ability to understand requirements and translate into actionable steps for a project.
• Experience of the Financial Services Sector is good to have.
