APPLY is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own data foundations on Snowflake with dbt-based ELT. You will audit sources, model identities, and create activation pipelines into Braze, collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients.

Strong communication and cloud experience are essential as you work in a hybrid/remote-friendly setup based in Latin America. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data engineering, expert SQL, dbt, and hands-on Snowflake experience, plus Python and cloud platform

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/related field.
• 5+ years in data engineering.
• Expert SQL with Snowflake; ELT/ETL experience.
• Hands-on dbt, git-based workflows, CI/CD.
• Data modelling and identity resolution.
• Experience with Braze/Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Sailthru.
• Python for data tooling.
• Cloud familiarity (AWS or GCP).
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Define data requirements and the technology stack for projects.
• Audit source systems and define migration guidelines.
• Translate business needs into technical specs for data streams and warehouses.
• Design and build dbt transformations on Snowflake.
• Build and maintain data activation pipelines (Braze).
• Run discovery audits and provide data foundation recommendations.
• Work in git-based workflows with CI/CD for warehouse objects.
• Define data architecture standards and optimize models for performance and cost.
• Plan activities to populate new solutions with historical data.
• Implement data security and access controls.
• Document data sources, ELT/ETL processes and metadata.
• Research and recommend new technologies and best practices.
