Ebury’s Santiago Office seeks a senior Credit Risk Manager to lead credit underwriting and risk management for the Chile portfolio. This role sits on the local leadership team and focuses on underwriting, risk controls, and process improvements across the credit lifecycle.

Responsibilities include oversight of exposure limits, collaboration with Front Office and Compliance, and direct engagement with clients to manage risk and opportunities in FX-related activities.

Formación

• Minimum 5+ years credit underwriting experience, preferably in SME space in Chile.
• Strong understanding of local accounting principles.
• Exposure to collections and litigations processes locally is desirable.
• Clear, structured communication with ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Experience dealing directly with clients and resolving issues.
• Understanding of basic Foreign Exchange products in your market.

Responsabilidades

• Report to and support the Senior Global Credit Risk Management Team.
• Perform detailed credit analysis of prospects and clients for FX exposure limits.
• Approve exposure limits within a delegated authority matrix.
• Present analyses at Credit Committee meetings with senior management.
• Collaborate with Front Office and Onboarding/Compliance for a smooth client experience.
• Manage an existing client portfolio and monitor credit risk vs reward.
