BHP Chile seeks a seasoned Contracts & Procurement leader to drive contracting strategies for a mega project in Chile. You will manage interfaces with Supply, Purchasing, and partners, while upholding safety, value delivery, and compliance with BHP standards.

Requirements include an Engineering degree and 10+ years of mega project experience with EPCM/EPC contracts, plus proven leadership to guide a diverse team and make risk-based decisions for sustainable outcomes.

• Engineering degree or related discipline.
• Extensive EPCM and EPC contract management experience.
• 10+ years of mega project experience.
• Experience managing contracts, procurement and risk.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures conformance with the BHP Charter, Group Documents, Code of Conduct and statutory obligations.
• Leads development of contracting and procurement strategies in EPCM/EPC models; coordinates with Supply and Purchasing.
• Serves as project focal point for Contracts, Procurement and Supply; enhances end-to-end supply chain efficiency.
• Evaluates risk profiles and contracting options to align with project execution strategies.
• Manages contract execution and analysis to maximise performance and mitigate risk.
• Develops safe project delivery and contractor performance strategies to maximise value.
• Gains support and negotiates mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Identifies and manages risks using BHP risk framework and fosters a risk-aware culture.
• Engages diverse stakeholders and builds strong relationships.
• Determines root causes and analyzes solutions for complex problems.
• Mitigates people, environmental and community risks across the value chain.
• Strives for 100% safety, 100% customer value and 0% waste.
