Bluelight, a leading software consultancy, is seeking a Business Analyst to translate business problems into actionable requirements. You will bridge clients, product teams, and engineers across multi-project engagements, driving discovery, mapping processes, and writing user stories with acceptance criteria.

You will collaborate with product and engineering, support scoping, and ensure compliance considerations are captured early. This role emphasizes clear communication with U.S.

Formación

• 3+ years as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role on software projects.
• Strong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in an agile/Scrum environment.
• Proven ability to run discovery sessions and turn ambiguous input into structured requirements.
• Comfort with process mapping and data modeling at a business level (flows, entities, relationships, rules).
• Hands-on experience with Jira; familiarity with Figma and collaborative docs.
• Excellent written and spoken English; comfortable leading client meetings with U.S. stakeholders.
• Enough technical literacy to have productive conversations with engineers about APIs, integrations, databases, and system constraints.

Responsabilidades

• Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops with clients and internal teams to understand goals, workflows, and pain points.
• Document current-state and future-state processes, business rules, data definitions, and edge cases.
• Support new-project sizing by breaking scope into epics and stories for engineering estimates.
• Identify risks and dependencies early and drive resolution.
• Write clear user stories with testable acceptance criteria in Jira.
• Partner with the Product Manager to prioritize and groom the backlog ahead of sprints.
• Coordinate with UI/UX design in Figma to confirm flows match requirements.
• Answer engineering questions during the sprint and keep requirements current.
• Support sprint demos and coordinate user acceptance testing with clients.
• Keep requirements organized in Google Drive with decisions and rationale.
• Capture compliance, security, and audit requirements explicitly (SOC 2, etc.).
• Act as the trusted contact for clients on scope questions and translate between business and technical audiences.
• Surface scope changes early and explain tradeoffs.
