Bluelight is seeking a Business Analyst to translate business problems into buildable requirements. You will sit between clients, the product team, and engineers, conducting discovery, mapping processes, and writing user stories with acceptance criteria to ensure delivered work solves the intended problems.

You’ll work on client builds and internal products, helping scope and estimate projects while ensuring alignment with compliance and security considerations.

Qualificações

• 3+ years as a Business Analyst or similar role on software projects.
• Strong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in an agile/Scrum environment.
• Proven ability to run discovery sessions and turn ambiguous input into structured requirements.
• Comfort with process mapping and data modeling at a business level.
• Hands-on experience with Jira; familiarity with Figma and collaborative docs.
• Excellent written and spoken English; comfortable leading client meetings with U.S. stakeholders.
• Enough technical literacy to discuss APIs, integrations, databases, and system constraints with engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops to understand goals and pain points.
• Document current-state and future-state processes, rules, data definitions, and edge cases.
• Support sizing by breaking scope into epics and stories for engineering estimates.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and open questions and drive resolution.
• Write clear user stories with testable acceptance criteria in Jira.
• Partner with Product Manager to prioritize and groom the backlog for sprints.
• Collaborate with UI/UX design in Figma to ensure flows match requirements.
• Answer engineering questions during the sprint and keep requirements current.
• Work with QA to ensure acceptance criteria translate into tests.
• Support sprint demos and coordinate user acceptance testing with clients.
