Job summary

BairesDev is hiring a Senior Backend Software Engineer – Python to design and implement backend services on AWS serverless infrastructure for products used by millions of collectors. This hands-on role spans from design through deployment and includes API development.

You will work with Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS, model data with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, and contribute to scalable, customer-facing platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Background in PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with containerized services (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services on AWS serverless infrastructure.
• Implement features end-to-end from design through deployment.
• Build and consume APIs used by web and mobile applications.
• Work with containerized services using Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Build and maintain data models across PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
