Xe is hiring a Senior Architect to own architectural problems end‑to‑end and shape how the engineering org builds, from system design to implementation and governance. You will set patterns for the ledger, settlement, and back‑office systems that move money across markets, while mentoring mid‑level architects and leads.

You’ll stay hands‑on in prototyping, code the most challenging parts, and drive architecture reviews.

Formación

• 7 to 10+ years building production software systems end-to-end, incl. 3+ years in architecture‑leaning work.
• Track record designing and leading architecture across multiple teams or the engineering org.
• Strong backend proficiency in C# / .NET, with hands‑on coding and experience in other modern languages (Java/Kotlin/Go).
• Solid CS fundamentals: OOD, domain‑driven design, data structures, pragmatic system design.
• Deep understanding of service‑oriented or microservices architecture, REST and event‑driven patterns.
• Strong SQL and relational DB fundamentals, with NoSQL familiarity.
• Production experience with AWS and CI/CD pipelines.
• Payments, FX, or regulated‑industry experience.
• Daily use of agentic coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or equivalent) across the SDLC.
• Strong written and verbal communication to explain architectural tradeoffs.

Responsabilidades

• Own the architecture for Xe’s back-office and money‑movement core: ledger, settlement, reconciliation, treasury, and integration patterns.
• Stay hands‑on: prototype patterns, write code in hard parts, and lead architecture reviews across squads.
• Set architecture standards: API design, observability, security, and integration patterns to reduce future costs.
• Lead cross‑cutting architecture decisions, mentor mid‑level architects and team leads, grow the architecture practice.
• Lead how the org adopts AI in architecture work across the SDLC, using AI tools daily.
