EnergyX is seeking a Senior Accountant to maintain accounting records, prepare monthly financial reports, and ensure compliance with IFRS in a multinational setting. You will develop controls, support budgeting and audits, and improve processes with a focus on data accuracy.

The role requires advanced Excel skills and fluent English, with 5–10 years of multinational accounting experience and familiarity with IFRS and corporate taxes.

Formación

• 5–10 years of experience in multinational accounting and closing financial statements.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and corporate taxes.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with international companies.
• Advanced written and oral English.

Responsabilidades

• Perform month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
• Implement and monitor control systems over accounting transactions.
• Prepare and review monthly reconciliations of significant general ledger accounts.
• Process and review monthly bank reconciliations.
• Maintain the chart of accounts.
• Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and data accuracy.
• Develop and improve manual processes, and automate where required.
• Verify the quality of financial information under IFRS.
• Prepare monthly, semi-annual, and annual reporting and closings.
• Participate in internal and external auditing processes.
• Review regulatory compliance with IFRS standards.
• Prepare reporting for the parent company.
• Knowledge in Fixed Assets.
• Prepare and maintain account analysis.
• Supervise and analyze balance sheets.
• Supervise VAT and corporate tax matters.
