Job summary

Murex Chile is seeking an Operations Intern to support the Operations Consulting team on projects tied to the financial operations lifecycle within the MX.3 platform.

You will assist in process analysis, trade lifecycle activities, requirements gathering, and testing. Grow through internal training and collaborate with global teams in a dynamic, multicultural setting.

Qualifications

• Basic SQL and relational databases understanding.
• Unix/Linux programming or scripting knowledge.
• Data analysis tools familiarity.
• Financial knowledge and interest in capital markets.
• Familiarity with trade lifecycle concepts.
• Basic understanding of financial accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process analysis of operational processes related to financial markets.
• Assist with trade confirmation, reconciliation, settlement, and monitoring of financial transactions.
• Participate in workshops to document business requirements.
• Support testing and validation of configurations and processes.
• Contribute to implementation phases: analysis, configuration, testing, and support.
• Engage in internal training on financial markets and the MX.3 platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional client teams in a multicultural environment.
• Assist in incident follow-up under guidance of senior consultants.

What You Will Do

As an Operations Intern, you will support the Operations Consulting team on projects related to the financial operations lifecycle, post-trade processes, and configuration activities within the MX.3 platform.

• Process Analysis: Support the analysis of operational processes related to financial markets and industry best practices.
• Trade Lifecycle Management: Assist with activities related to trade confirmation, reconciliation, settlement, and monitoring of financial transactions.
• Requirements Gathering: Participate in workshops and analysis sessions to understand business needs and document requirements.
• Testing & Validation: Support the preparation and execution of functional testing to validate configurations and processes.
• Project Participation: Contribute to different implementation phases, including analysis, configuration, testing, and support.
• Training & Learning: Participate in internal training programs focused on financial markets and the MX.3 platform.
• Collaborative Work: Interact with functional, technical, and client teams in a multicultural and international environment.
• Client Support: Assist in the follow-up and analysis of incidents under the guidance of experienced consultants.

Who You Are

• Education: Final-year student pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematical Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong interest in financial markets, fintech, and technology applied to the financial industry.

Technical Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of the following is desirable: SQL and relational databases
• Unix/Linux Programming or scripting
• Data analysis tools
• Financial Knowledge
• Interest in financial products and capital markets.
• Familiarity with concepts related to the trade lifecycle is a plus.
• Basic understanding of financial accounting is considered an advantage.
