Job summary

Itransition is seeking a creative Technical Artist to bridge art and code in Unity. You will implement UI and 2D assets, integrate VFX, and collaborate with artists and developers to keep visuals sharp and performant across devices.

You will work with basic C# scripting, shaders at a basic level, and help optimize visuals for mobile performance. Remote work options are available from Argentina, Chile, or Mexico.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing UI across different screen sizes in Unity.
• Basic understanding of Unity rendering and performance fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Git workflows and version control.
• Experience with Unity animations.
• Ability to create and edit 2D art assets.
• Hands-on experience with VFX and particle effects.

Responsibilities

• Implement art and UI assets in Unity, following guidelines and best practices.
• Collaborate with artists and developers to integrate visuals into the game.
• Help optimize visuals to maintain performance on mobile devices.
• Fix visual and performance issues related to assets.
• Use basic C# scripting to support technical art tasks.
• Work with shaders at a basic level and adjust existing ones as needed.
• Apply programming fundamentals using C#, OOP concepts, and basic software practices.
