Job summary

Howard Financial is seeking a Tax Manager to join our growing tax team. You will own the full scope of U.S. tax work, from income tax and year-end filings to sales tax compliance, while serving as a trusted point of contact for clients and teammates.

You’ll manage a multi-client portfolio, prepare and review returns, and help build scalable tax processes as the company grows. This is a hands-on, fully remote role with a collaborative global team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with U.S. income tax and year-end work.
• Hands-on tax preparer with ability to manage multiple clients.
• Strong communication with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review business and individual returns, meeting deadlines across a multi-client portfolio.
• Own the sales tax function: compliance, filings, nexus reviews, and client inquiries.
• Support all areas of the tax practice and help build processes as the team grows.
