Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering or backend development.
• Expertise in Rust focusing on memory safety and performance.
• Experience with async patterns and Rust frameworks (Actix/Axum).
• Backend services experience with PostgreSQL and RPCs.
• AWS deployment and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement performance-critical systems software using Rust’s ownership and borrowing model.
• Build and maintain robust backend services using frameworks like Actix or Axum.
• Optimize low-level code for memory safety and execution speed without the overhead of a garbage collector.
• Develop secure and efficient communication layers using gRPC or JSON-RPC.
• Implement robust, thread-safe concurrency and async patterns to support high-throughput processing.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure system reliability and efficient resource utilization across AWS deployments.
