Outlier is seeking a QA Coder to review AI-generated code, flag issues, and rate model responses to improve AI tooling. This is a freelance, 1099 contract with flexible hours and remote work. Core pay is up to $34 USD/hr, with additional incentives based on project metrics.

You can work from anywhere, anytime, with access to top LLMs for training tasks. Ideal candidates have a CS degree, production coding experience, and strong English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS from a selective institution.
• Experience contributing to a live production codebase.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, grammar, punctuation, and style.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code and flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues.
• Rate and rank model responses across accuracy, instruction following, and presentation.
• Write clear, well-structured prompts that challenge AI models.
