MAVI connects finance professionals with US companies, offering an international accounting career path. The role focuses on inventory and COGS, maintaining records, and ensuring accurate month-end closes while coordinating with US founders and finance leads.

As an Inventory/Product Accounting specialist, you will own counts, valuations, and reporting, leveraging US GAAP or IFRS knowledge as needed. Remote work from Chile is supported, with overlap hours for US teams.

Formación

• 4+ years of accounting for businesses that hold inventory.
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting, inventory costing, COGS, and financial statement impact.
• Excellent reconciliation skills tying inventory systems, warehouse reports and GL.
• Ability to own the close and resolve discrepancies with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and spoken English for collaboration with US founders and teams.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain inventory records, roll-forwards, and reconcile subledgers to GL.
• Record COGS and track landed costs by product/SKU.
• Support cycle counts and physical inventories; investigate variances.
• Apply FIFO or weighted-average costing and manage reserves for slow-moving stock.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and balance sheet reconciliations.
