BairesDev is seeking a Software Engineer (Apache Kafka) to design and operate real-time data pipelines that power scalable streaming architectures across the enterprise.

You will build production-grade Kafka clusters, implement Kafka Connect/Streams, and define data schemas with Avro, collaborating with global engineering teams. This is a 100% remote role with flexible hours and competitive USD compensation.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or Stream Processing.
• Proficiency in building real-time data pipelines using Apache Kafka.
• Designing event-driven architectures at scale; hands-on with Kafka Streams, Confluent, and Avro.

Responsabilidades

As a Software Engineer specializing in Apache Kafka, you will build and operate real-time data pipelines to power event-driven architectures. You will play a key role in designing scalable streaming solutions, ensuring high throughput and reliability across the enterprise data ecosystem.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and manage production-grade Kafka clusters and streaming applications.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or Stream Processing.
• Proven expertise in building and operating real-time data pipelines using Apache Kafka.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing event-driven architectures at scale.
• Hands‑on experience with Kafka Streams, Confluent, and Avro for data serialization.
• Deep understanding of streaming infrastructure management and performance tuning.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
