Job summary

Google Cloud is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer for Generative AI to bridge frontier AI products with production environments for regional clients. You will code, debug, and ship bespoke agentic solutions directly within customer environments, acting as an innovator-builder with high autonomy.

As part of the Go-To-Market AI team, you’ll leverage Gemini models and Vertex AI to solve business problems at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development using Python or similar languages.
• Experience taking AI-driven solutions from conception to launch on cloud platforms (GCP).
• Experience building pipelines for structured/unstructured data using vector databases and RAG-like architectures.
• Experience writing code for ML, NLP, and generative AI agents.
• Ability to communicate fluently in Spanish and English to support client relationships in this region.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a developer for complex AI applications, transitioning from rapid prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows.
• Architect and code the connective tissue between Google's AI products and customer's live infrastructure.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks for accuracy, safety, and latency.
• Identify repeatable field patterns and create reusable modules for Engineering teams.
• Collaborate with technical sales teams to ensure long-term project success and high user adoption.
