Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer for Generative AI to bridge frontier AI products with production reality. You will embed with strategic accounts, code, debug, and ship bespoke agentic solutions within customer environments, operating with high autonomy and an entrepreneurial mindset.

You will leverage Google’s advanced AI portfolio and Vertex AI, collaborating with DeepMind teams to solve customer challenges and influence product roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of software development experience with Python.
• Experience deploying production AI on cloud platforms (GCP).
• Experience building pipelines for data using vector databases and RAG-like architectures.
• Experience writing code for ML, NLP, and generative AI agents.
• Fluent in Spanish and English for client management in the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex AI applications from prototypes to production-grade workflows.
• Architect connectives between Google's AI products and customer infrastructure.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks.
• Turn field patterns into reusable modules and feature requests.
• Collaborate with technical sales to promote best practices and adoption.
