Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer for Generative AI with expertise in Python, AI systems, and multi-agent architectures. You will embed with customers to ship bespoke agentic workflows, bridging frontier AI products with production environments while addressing integration, data readiness, and state-management challenges.

You will collaborate with the GTM team to showcase Google-scale best practices and leverage Vertex AI capabilities, Gemini models, and security perimeters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development using Python or similar coding languages.
• Experience taking production-grade AI-driven solutions from conception to launch and architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience building pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases and RAG-like architectures.
• Experience writing code for machine learning, NLP, and generative AI agents.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a developer for complex AI applications, transitioning from prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows.
• Architect and code the connective tissue between Google's AI products and customer's live infrastructure.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks for accuracy, safety, and latency.
• Identify repeatable field patterns and friction points to be turned into reusable modules or feature requests.
• Collaborate with technical sales teams to promote Google-grade development practices and ensure project success.
