Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Data Science Technical Lead to guide the design and delivery of a semantic data platform, from the domain ontology to the Python pipelines and machine learning components built on top of it. You will guide technical decisions with pragmatic modeling judgment and set the engineering standard for the team.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data science and ML engineering with technical leadership.
• Engineering-grade Python skills for production pipelines, semantic processing, entity resolution, and integrations.
• Expertise in ontology and semantic data modeling with RDF 1.1, OWL 2, and SHACL.
• Experience designing a bounded domain ontology from a reference dataset with typed relationships and rules.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction of data science and machine learning work.
• Design a bounded domain ontology from a reference dataset.
• Build production Python pipelines for semantic processing and entity resolution.
• Integrate ontology services into the pipeline.
• Develop evaluation harnesses and solver adapters.
• Mentor engineers and set engineering standards across the team.
