Job summary

Workana LLC seeks an experienced AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy enterprise AIapplications using Python, C#, and Azure. You will integrate LLMs, RAG pipelines, and AI agents with enterprise data and backend systems in a fully remote Latin America setting.

You will collaborate with international teams, own end-to-end delivery, and ensure scalable REST APIs and microservices. English fluency (C1) and independence in a remote environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering experience with Python and C#.
• Hands-on experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Cloud-based development and containerized deployments, preferably on Azure.
• Experience with generative AI, LLM integration, and frameworks like LangChain or Semantic Kernel.
• Practical knowledge of RAG architectures, embeddings, and data retrieval pipelines.
• CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and secure coding practices.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1) for international collaboration.
• Must be based in Latin America.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain enterprise AI-powered applications and backend services using Python and C#.
• Integrate LLMs and generative AI capabilities into business workflows.
• Develop and optimize RAG pipelines connecting LLMs with enterprise data.
• Implement AI agents, tool-calling capabilities, and orchestrated workflows.
• Design secure REST APIs and microservices using FastAPI, C#, and .NET.
• Containerize and deploy cloud applications on Azure and manage CI/CD automation.
• Evaluate outputs, improve retrieval quality, troubleshoot, and optimize latency.
• Collaborate with AI architects, data scientists, and engineering teams.
