Jobtailor in Chile seeks an experienced design leader to own end-to-end product design across digital interfaces, from discovery through production-ready UI. You will drive UI and interaction design with strong visual craft and collaborate with engineers to ensure quality across complex workflows.

You will mentor designers, conduct user research, and contribute to a mature design system supporting data-rich interfaces and enterprise software applications.

Formación

• 4+ years designing and shipping digital products in fast-moving environments.
• Fluent English communication, able to lead technical discussions with US-based teams.
• Proven ability to lead design end-to-end from discovery to production-ready UI.
• Strong UI and interaction design with visual craft and typography.
• Experience with design systems creation and evolution.

Responsabilidades

• Design digital products end-to-end, from early concepts, flows, and wireframes through detailed UI, prototyping, production, and iteration.
• Collaborate with clients and teammates to define product scope and experience.
• Work closely with engineers to ensure seamless implementation and maintain visual and UX quality.
• Conduct user research and testing to validate and improve designs.
• Mentor other designers and contribute to a high-trust, pragmatic design culture.
• Shape and deliver digital products including robot control interfaces, sensor-data dashboards, web apps, and innovation-lab demos.

• 4+ years designing and shipping digital products in fast-moving environments.


• Fluent English communication skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions and collaborate with US-based teams.


• Proven ability to lead design end to end, from discovery to production-ready UI.


• Strong UI and interaction design skills, including visual craft, layout, typography, hierarchy, states, and interactions.


• Strong experience with design systems, including creating, maintaining, and evolving components, patterns, and reusable UI.


• Advanced Figma skills, including components, libraries, variables, prototyping, and design-system workflows.


• Product intuition and experience shaping what gets built.


• Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams in production environments.


• Pragmatic, self-directed, and comfortable mentoring others while driving high-quality execution.


• Strong portfolio required, demonstrating high-quality UI, interaction design, design-system thinking, and meaningful product work.


• Nice to have: experience designing complex B2B, enterprise, or technical software products, particularly products involving complex workflows and data-rich interfaces.


• Nice to have: experience working within a larger or mature design organization.


• Nice to have: experience driving an enterprise visual language or design system across multiple products.
