Job summary

At BairesDev, a global tech services company, we seek a Principal Python Engineer to own APIs and backend services powering our product used by millions. This hands-on role spans design through deployment and involves working with a product and design team focused on delivering scalable consumer-facing systems.

You will design backend on AWS serverless, implement data models with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, and build infrastructure as code.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Background in PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
• Proficiency in microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

In this role, you'll design the APIs and services that power the web and mobile experiences of a product used by millions of collectors. This is a hands-on position where your full ownership, from design through deployment, directly shapes how customers interact with the platform.
