Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend engineering experience with Python.
• Hands-on with AWS Serverless services (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Strong PostgreSQL and DynamoDB background.
• Expertise in microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.

Principal Backend Engineer (Python) at BairesDev

In this role, you'll shape the backend architecture behind products serving millions of collectors worldwide. This is a hands-on leadership position where your architectural decisions directly determine how well the platform scales as the business grows. What We Are Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in backend engineering, with strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Background in PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency in microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
• Advanced proficiency in English.
