Job summary

Flowserve Chile S.p.A. is seeking a DCI Repair Technician to dismantle, clean, inspect, repair, and assemble pumps and decoking equipment.

The role uses precision inspection tools to measure components and ensure quality, on-time delivery, and adherence to company policies. Responsibilities include following pre-job briefs, documenting conditions, and coordinating with production planners, engineers, and customers.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years relevant experience in pump or heavy machinery repair.
• HS Diploma / GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions in pre-job briefings and complete all checklists, routers, and procedures.
• Clean each part to be reused and document the condition of components.
• Use hand torches and liquid nitrogen when appropriate in the teardown process.
• Disassemble products to repair or replace defective materials or worn parts and make other repairs as necessary.
• Inspect components and assemblies accurately and record results of inspections.
• Remove dirt, oil, grease, and other matter from pump parts prior to assembly.
• Apply primer and finish coatings to exterior surfaces using spray equipment.
• Operate precision measuring tools and take photos to document condition.
• Report quality deviations and non-conformities, and support corrective actions.
