Job summary

Iron Mountain seeks a motivated intern in Civil or Industrial Engineering to join our Operations team in Chile. You will support Lean- Six Sigma- Kaizen projects, study times and methods, and help optimize processes to improve efficiency and quality.

Work alongside experienced professionals to develop documentation, controls, and standard work while contributing to operational excellence and customer impact.

Qualifications

• Active student in Civil or Industrial Engineering.
• Solid knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, process analysis, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Analytical ability for metrics and methods studies.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation (procedures, flowcharts, work instructions).

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies to ensure continuous improvement in operational processes.
• Conduct time study, method study, and work analysis to define productive capacities and standards.
• Generate and manage operational metrics and indicators for control and monitoring.
• Provide tools, workflows, and procedures to ensure execution conformity and issues resolution impacting customers.

Responsabilidades:

• Apoyar la implementación de metodologías Lean - Seis Sigma y Kaizen para garantizar la mejora continua en los procesos operativos.

• Realizar estudios de tiempos, métodos y herramientas en las operaciones de Iron Mountain para definir capacidades productivas (APH’s), índices de concesión y estándares ideales.

• Generar y administrar métricas e indicadores operativos de forma sistemática para el control y seguimiento de la gestión.

• Proveer herramientas, flujos y procedimientos operativos para garantizar la conformidad en la ejecución y solucionar problemas con impacto en el cliente.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Estudiante activo de la carrera de Ingeniería Civil o Industrial.

• Conocimiento sólido de herramientas Lean, Seis Sigma, análisis de procesos y metodologías de Mejora Continua.

• Capacidad analítica para el manejo de métricas operativas y realización de estudios de tiempos y métodos.

• Habilidades para la resolución de problemas y elaboración de documentación técnica (procedimientos, flujos e instrucciones de trabajo).
