Reboot Monkey in Punta Arenas, Chile seeks a Data Center Technician to install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment on-site. The role requires expert cabling skills and strong troubleshooting, with on-call rotation and a full-time permanent arrangement.

You will support critical infrastructure, monitor power and cooling systems, and collaborate with engineering teams to plan capacity and upgrades. On-site work at a world-class facility is expected.

Formación

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber).
• Understanding of power distribution and UPS systems.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
