Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking an Estates Maintenance technician to diagnose and repair faults in engineering and electrical systems, and to perform planned preventive maintenance across buildings. You will follow health and safety policies and contribute to high standards of asset care.

The role requires experience in estates maintenance, electrical competence, and a valid UK/EU driving licence. Training and progression opportunities are available within a supportive NHS environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in estates maintenance environment.
• Certificate of competence for Portable Appliance Testing (C&G 23377/002) or equivalent.
• Certificate for use of mobile platforms.
• Certificate of Electrical competence to work at or near electricity and apply local house rules.
• A full UK/EU/EEA driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair minor faults on engineering and/or electrical equipment.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance using job cards and complete records.
• Work in line with NHSL Health and Safety and Technical Policies and Procedures.
• Undertake additional duties as required.
