Bechtel is recruiting for a Project Logistics role in Santiago to perform logistics tasks ensuring safe, timely, and economical delivery of goods for the Doña Inés de Collahuasi project. You will report to the Project Logistics Supervisor and Bechtel Global Logistics.

The role requires 8+ years of mining logistics experience and knowledge of Bechtel Logistics Procedures, Incoterms, and related import/export processes.

Formación

• Related education (Transport, Logistics or International Trade) and 8 years of relevant experience in mining projects, cargo logistics project.
• A bachelor's or Master's degree (or international equivalent) is normally required and a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a university degree.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate shipments with internal and external entities to ensure safe and timely delivery.
• Ensure timely entry of shipment milestones into the DSCS and Transport Management system.
• Assist the project logistics supervisor when requested.
• Provide information to the Contract Administrator to submit and resolve claims from LSPs.
• Gather and deliver information to prepare logistics studies and visits to suppliers.
• Plan, develop, coordinate and review procurement work in support of logistics strategy.
