Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience in a lead or senior engineering role on mobile projects.
• Strong leadership abilities and mentoring.
• Experience with enterprise-scale applications and cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on with React Native and Expo in production apps.
• Strong TypeScript and JavaScript knowledge.
• Experience with AWS and scalable backend integrations.
• Understanding mobile architecture and best practices.
• Experience with authentication and security using Okta or similar providers.
• API development and integration between mobile apps and backends.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for mobile release management.
• Strong communication skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Upper-Intermediate English (B2).

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on development of mobile apps with an iOS-first delivery and Android follow-up.
• Establish engineering standards, coding guidelines, and design patterns for the mobile team.
• Design and implement security, scalability, and integration solutions covering authentication, CMS, and personalization.
• Guide technical decisions and conduct code/architecture reviews to maintain consistency and quality.
• Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders to turn requirements into practical solutions.
• Contribute to technical roadmaps aligning engineering decisions with business objectives.
• Evaluate and select tools, libraries, and frameworks for long-term maintainability.
• Coach and mentor engineers, promoting best practices.
• Create architecture diagrams, integration flows, and technical documentation; spot risks and debt.
• Contribute to CI/CD strategy and manage releases for mobile apps.
