EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Full-Stack Developer to drive backend services in Java/Spring Boot and frontend work with React.js. You will guide architectural decisions, oversee AI-enabled checkout flows, and ensure scalable, secure systems across commerce domains.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, leadership expertise, and cloud work with GCP/Azure, with overlap into US Pacific Time and strong English communication.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• At least 1 year leading and managing teams.
• Strong backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Existing production experience developing Front-End components using React.js.
• Familiarity with Anthropic Claude Code.
• Proficiency in building REST APIs and microservices.
• Exposure to AI-assisted or agent-based workflows and backend integrations.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, patterns, and technologies.
• Cloud experience with GCP and/or Azure.
• Availability to work with overlap into US Pacific Time.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Build and support backend services for payment, loyalty, promotion, and other commerce domain systems
• Enable AI-driven checkout flows with proper validations and guardrails
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and compliance across systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions aligned with business goals
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of quality, performance, and security
• Contribute to architectural decisions that support long-term system growth and stability
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in a timely manner
• Mentor team members and support their technical development
