EPAM Systems in Chile seeks a Lead Forward Deployed Engineer to act as a highly autonomous, business-facing technical lead. Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into production-ready software without a BA or Scrum Master, and deeply integrate GitHub Copilot and other AI tools into daily development.

You will own end-to-end delivery, mentor engineers, and drive architecture and tooling decisions while balancing technical and business goals in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• At least 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Minimum 1 year leading and managing engineering teams.
• Full-stack expertise: .NET (C#) on backend and Angular on frontend.
• Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS infrastructure.
• Daily use of GitHub Copilot or similar AI-powered coding assistants.
• Strong business communication, requirements gathering, and agile delivery without BA or Scrum Master support.
• Excellent debugging, code review, and security auditing of AI-generated code.

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients.
• Translate business goals into actionable technical plans and roadmaps.
• Own delivery from concept to live deployment.
• Make independent architectural and tooling decisions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align technical and business goals.
• Identify risks early and develop proactive solutions.
• Mentor team members to improve engineering quality and speed.
• Refine workflows to accelerate delivery without compromising quality.
• Present progress and decisions to business stakeholders in clear terms.
• Adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining momentum.
