EPAM Systems in Chile is seeking a Lead Cloud Engineer with strong AWS cost optimization expertise to join our team. You will drive a metrics-driven strategy to alert, report, and refine cloud costs, leveraging your DevOps/SRE background and experience with large-scale AWS environments.

You will build dashboards and automated reporting while guiding architects on resource optimization, capacity management, and KPI development.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of professional AWS cloud infrastructure experience with cost reporting and large-scale optimization.
• Leadership or team management experience in a technical setting.
• Strong written and spoken English; ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with development and engineering teams to identify cloud cost optimization opportunities.
• Understand the client’s product, cloud architecture, and cost drivers across environments.
• Guide architects on resource optimization, waste reduction, and KPI development.
• Track expenditures to identify spikes and unusual usage patterns.
• Monitor reservations and Savings Plans usage and coordinate with teams to reallocate capacity.
• Create dashboards, reports, and automated tools to monitor cost, usage, alerts, and forecasts.
• Communicate KPIs and savings opportunities to stakeholders.
• Ensure governance for cost optimization policies and best practices.
