The ideal candidate has 8+ years in software engineering, strong Python, experience with LLM applications, and a background in building catalog-like AI assets; English proficiency is required for global collaboration.

Lead AI Engineer – Python at BairesDev

In this role, you'll lead the development of reusable AI asset libraries, building the skill and prompt catalogs that let teams reuse proven AI components rather than reinvent them. Designing APIs for catalog services with proper versioning, tagging, and access control, you'll bring engineering discipline to how AI assets are managed at scale. What You'll Do

• Build reusable AI asset libraries, including skill and prompt catalogs, templates, and metadata search.
• Design APIs for library and catalog services, including CRUD operations, tagging, versioning, and access control.
• Develop and refine prompt engineering practices, including structured outputs and prompt versioning.
• Support prompt evaluation and testing through golden sets, regression testing, and quality scoring.
• Contribute to portal UX and component library development where needed.

What We Are Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with LLM application development, including prompt engineering, structured outputs, and prompt versioning.
• Proven experience building reusable AI asset libraries, such as skill or prompt catalogs, templates, and metadata search.
• Experience designing APIs for library or catalog services, including CRUD, tagging, versioning, access control, and MCP.
• Experience with React.
• Background with component libraries and portal UX.
• Experience with prompt evaluation and testing, including golden sets, regression testing, and quality scoring.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Nice To Have

• Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with the MCP protocol.
• Experience with Snowflake.
