Liberty Hospital is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician I to support distribution, compounding, and packaging of medications for inpatient units. The role ensures nurses and providers have the meds needed for patient care and requires adherence to safety and accuracy standards.

The ideal candidate may have no prior experience but should have a high school diploma or GED and obtain or maintain CPhT/PTCB certification with state licensure per work location.

Formación

• No previous experience is required for this inpatient technician role.
• High School diploma or GED is required for consideration.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred; active registration required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares medications for dispensing accurately following procedures.
• Distributes medications and maintains ADS inventory and records.
• Maintains pharmacy inventory and rotates stock to prevent expiries.
• Operates pharmacy computer systems per training.
• Keeps logs and records in compliance with policies.
• Provides courteous patient care and directs questions to a pharmacist.
• Adheres to medication safety practices and reports discrepancies.
