The International School Nido de Aguilas in Chile invites applications for a High School IB Math Teacher for the 2027–2028 school year, to teach IB SL and HL courses along with standard Grade 9 and 10 math. The successful candidate will have IB Math HL teaching experience and IB training, strong English fluency, and a collaborative approach to curriculum design, assessment, and student support.

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in high school.
• High English proficiency level.

Responsabilidades

• Teach five sections of high school math courses, including IB and non-IB courses.
• Collaborate with the math department to develop and improve the math curriculum; participate in weekly curricular planning.
• Serve as an Advisor for a small group of 8-12 high school students.
• Engage in the co-curricular program by advising a club or coaching an athletic team.
• Participate in the annual Week Without Walls program.

Position Details

• Position Name:High School IB Math Teacher
• Reports to: High School Principal
• Time commitment: Full-time

The position

We are looking to add a dynamic Math expert to a strong Mathematics department. The teacher should have the ability and flexibility to teach various IB SL and HL courses. Experience and ability to teach HL IB courses is a requirement of this position. Additionally, the teacher should be able to teach both standard or advanced Grade 9 and 10 courses. Responsible for supporting individual students with successful integration into a general education environment. The High School Math Teacher should be responsible for delivering a rigorous and engaging mathematics curriculum to high school students, fostering critical thinking and quantitative literacy.

Qualifications and Experience
