Ria Money Transfer is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead product squads, balancing people development with technical oversight. You will guide squads to deliver scalable, reliable products, owning delivery commitments and fostering ownership where quality is built in from the start.

You will mentor engineers, run 1-on-1s, and champion career growth while partnering with product on scope and north-star metrics.

Formación

• 8+ years in software engineering, with 4+ years managing engineering teams
• Strong technical background (backend, web, or mobile at scale)
• Proven experience running agile delivery end to end
• Track record of growing and retaining engineers
• Experience managing cross-team dependencies in a multi-team or distributed org
• Ownership mindset with proactive risk surfacing
• Metrics-driven decisions using business and operational metrics
• Strong written and verbal communication in English
• Familiarity with test automation and shift-left quality practices
• Interest in AI-assisted engineering workflows and making them default
• Nice to have fintech/payments domain experience

Responsabilidades

• Own quarterly planning and execution with squads; estimate scope, push back on scope, commit dates with risks on the table, and report status and metrics to product.
• Mentor engineers; run 1-on-1s; manage performance and compensation reviews; champion career growth.
• Challenge estimates and architectural trade-offs; participate in design reviews; uphold quality and automate testing as features are built.
• Partner with product on scope and squad north-star metrics; align dependencies early with other squads.
• Source, interview, and onboard engineering and QA talent as the squad model grows.
