Athenaworks is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join a distributed engineering team. You will implement security-as-code across AWS cloud infrastructure, manage CI/CD pipelines, and scale observability stacks.

A strong emphasis on shift-left security and collaboration in a remote, multi-country setup. Applicants should have 5+ years in DevSecOps, deep AWS knowledge (IAM, EC2, RDS, EKS, OpenSearch), and hands-on Kubernetes experience.

Formación

• 5+ years hands-on DevSecOps/security-focused engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of shift-left security and secure SDLC.
• Hands-on with AWS services and Terraform.

Responsabilidades

• Integrate security scanning into CI/CD pipelines (SAST/DAST) for early vulnerability detection.
• Maintain and audit cloud infrastructure compliance (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR) with automated policies.
• Implement security-as-code in Terraform/IaC and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, OpenSearch, EKS).
• Monitor security incidents and coordinate with security/compliance teams.
• Collaborate on IaC maintenance and automation across Terraform and GitOps workflows.
• Document processes, infrastructure, and decisions clearly.
