Aquabyte is seeking a DevOps Engineer for our Puerto Varas office to securely deploy and manage software on remote IoT devices and hardware at farms worldwide. You will automate burn-in testing, improve observability, and implement redundancies to minimize downtime, while enabling near-zero on-site configuration for field operations.

You will work with Linux, networking, certificate authorities, and cloud environments (AWS), and collaborate with global teams to optimize data pipelines and device

Formación

• Experience deploying to remote IoT devices and field operations.
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS and remote hardware deployment.

Responsabilidades

• Securely deploy and configure software to remote IoT devices.
• Monitor bandwidth and optimize software configurations to reduce bandwidth usage.
• Improve redundancies to minimize downtime at remote sites.
• Improve autoconfiguration so field operations require near-zero on-site setup.
• Develop fleet operations tools for monitoring, notifications, trending, and analysis.
• Interface with customer IT teams to deploy Aquabyte solutions.
• Travel occasionally for 2-4 days as needed.
