Job summary

NAVEGACRUCEROS.COM is seeking a Wine Steward to manage wine service in our cruise ship Main Dining Rooms during meals. You will sell beverages, restock the wine cellar daily, and assist with weekly wine loading, ensuring excellent guest experiences and adherence to health standards.

Two years of wine service on a cruise or similar large venue, plus knowledge of wine pairings and Micros POS, are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Secondary education completed; beverage or wine courses preferred.
• Proven wine knowledge and sales skills with guest focus.
• Experience in wine service on cruise ships or large hotels/bars.
• Familiarity with Micros POS and inventory practices.

Responsibilities

• Sell beverages during meal hours and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Restock the wine cellar daily and assist with weekly loading of wines.
• Maintain wine service standards and health regulations.
• Discuss wine pairings and advise guests with confidence.
