Formación

  • University degree is required in finance, economics, engineering, business administration, or related field.
  • Master's degree or CFA or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in corporate banking or related area.

Bank of China, Agencia en Chile is hiring a Senior Associate — Corporate Banking Analyst to strengthen our Corporate Banking team. In this role, you'll work directly with corporate clients, structure financial solutions, and support transactions with regional and international reach.

I. Purpose of the Jo

To provide deep analytical and execution support to the Corporate Banking Department, covering the full spectrum of corporate and project finance transactions from origination through credit approval and deal closing. The role applies expert-level financial analysis skills to credit assessment, financial modelling, and transaction structuring support — acting as the primary analytical engine of the CBD and ensuring the quality and rigor of all credit and commercial documentation produced by the team

This role combines deep technical expertise with significant operational autonomy, contributes to client coverage and business development activities, and is a key resource for the department's analytical output

II. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilit

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis for corporate and project finance transactions, including financial statement analysis, cash flow modelling, rating assessments, leverage and coverage analysis, and industry resear
  • Identify areas of credit risk and propose mitigation structures, contributing analytical insight to the credit proposal and structuring proce
  • Build, review, and stress-test financial models supporting credit decisions and business development initiatives across a wide range of sectors and sub-secto
  • Perform thorough company and industry analysis to support origination and credit assessment work, maintaining market intelligence on key sectors and client segmen
  • Play a key role in deal execution across a broad scope of assignments and products, assisting the team in opportunity evaluation, transaction structuring, and documentation rev
  • Prepare credit proposals, presentations, and other materials for Credit Committees and client meetings, ensuring documentation is well-structured, analytically rigorous, and meets governance standa
