Dentsu Creative in Santiago is seeking a Online Moderation Specialist responsible for daily moderation of messages on message boards, chat rooms and messaging apps, ensuring compliance with client guidelines.

You will review client moderation manuals, escalate issues to the Community Manager, maintain records of deleted messages and banned users, and collaborate on rota changes, content issues and legal considerations. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Santiago.

The purpose of this role is to be responsible for daily moderation of all messages on the message boards, chat rooms and/or messaging applications. Checking for inappropriate content and modifying and/or deleting messages that are in breach of the moderation guidelines.

Job Description

Key responsibilities

• Reviews client moderation manuals whilst moderating
• Escalates issues to the Community Manager
• Actively keeps records of all deleted messages and banned users on requested sites and ensures filing in a database is maintained
• Reviews each and every message in line with the guidelines stated in each client moderation manual
• Works closely with the Community Manager(s) on aspects such as rota changes, content issues and legal concerns
