Liberty Specialty Markets is seeking a Compliance professional in Chile to manage regulatory inquiries, AML/KYC controls, and data privacy practices. The role supports audits, policy maintenance, and documentation under the guidance of the Chief Compliance Officer.
Requires 2+ years in Compliance in a regulated industry, with strong Excel and screening tool skills. You'll ensure timely submissions, maintain records, and assist with the Crime Prevention Model and internal controls, contributing
Handles, under limited supervision, simple local regulatory inquiries and complaints ensuring responses, follow-ups, and related documentation are prepared accurately, in a timely manner
Support the follow-up of regulatory reporting obligations, including the collection, tracking, validation, and timely submission of information, while ensuring proper recordkeeping.
Process, maintain, and periodically update PEP-related customer records and other relevant AML/KYC information, as well as perform testing and execute relevant controls, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Support insider information procedures by maintaining records and monitoring operational compliance (Law 18045 Tittle XXI)
Update compliance controls and support the review, testing, and documentation of the Crime Prevention Model.
Maintain compliance policies, templates, trackers, logs, records, and operational processes for the legal entity, making sure they are kept current, complete, properly filed, and available in the required format and timeframe when needed.
Support internal and external audit requirements by coordinating document requests, compiling evidence, tracking pending items, and following up on action plans with diligence, accuracy, and timely execution.
Provide general operational support to the Compliance function in day-to-day tasks, including document administration, follow-up of pending matters, coordination with internal stakeholders, and other activities assigned by the CCO, always ensuring confidentiality, attention to detail, and timely execution.
Bachelor's degree in law, Business Administration, Accounting, Auditing, Engineering, or related.
Minimum 2 years of work experience in Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering, data privacy, or related control functions
Experience in a regulated industry; insurance industry is highly preferred
Knowledge of Chilean Anti-Money Laundering, economic crimes and data privacy regulations.
Advanced Excel and familiarity with screening tools
