The NHS Ayrshire & Arran is seeking a Band 5 Community Staff Nurse based at the Badenoch & Strathspey Community Hospital, covering Badenoch & Strathspey. The role is a permanent position; 30 hours per week over 4 days, typically 9 am–5 pm with occasional weekend work.

You will assess and plan care with the MDT, delivering holistic community care in clinics and care homes. Applicants should be motivated, eager to learn and develop new skills, and enthusiastic about Community Nursing.

Formación

• Motivated and keen to learn, with enthusiasm for community nursing.
• Community experience advantageous but not essential.
• Newly qualified staff considered.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Community Staff Nurse based in the Badenoch & Strathspey Community Hospital and covering all of Badenoch & Strathspey.

This is a permanent position working 30hrs a week, over 4 days, 9 am– 5pm with normally one weekend a month. The role involves the assessment, planning, implementing and evaluation of care in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure high quality evidence based holistic care, this care may be delivered in the community, ITR Clinic and care homes. The applicant should be motivated, keen to learn, develop new skills and enthusiastic about Community Nursing. Community experience would be advantageous but not essential, consideration also given to newly qualified staff.

There is also a small on-call commitment, full current driving licence and access to car essential. Allocation to use of pool car is given to staff travelling greatest distance.
