IDT Technologies is seeking an experienced Lead QA Engineer to own quality for the Net2Phone billing platform. You will lead testing of billing correctness end-to-end, ensuring invoices are correctly rated, taxed, prorated, and reconciled, and you will guide the team through coverage governance and documentation standards.

You will design test coverage for month-end cycles, drive automation strategy, and mentor QA engineers, while reading SIP traces when needed and validating third-party tax

Formación

• 8+ years in QA with hands-on experience in a production billing, rating, or payments system.
• Strong knowledge of rating and usage billing, including rate decks, prefix matching, billing increments, minimum durations, and zone considerations.
• Experience with subscription billing: recurring charges, proration, upgrades/downgrades, trials, and discounts.
• Invoicing experience: line-items, credits, refunds, dunning, and adjustments.
• SQL skills (joins, aggregations, window functions) to reconcile usage against invoices.
• Attention to precision and rounding, understanding decimal vs. floating-point and rounding impact.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring QA engineers and driving quality with data.
• Familiarity with a formal Test Management System (TMS) and Jira.
• Professional English proficiency with overlap to US Eastern business hours.

Responsabilidades

• Act as an active member of a Scrum team and maintain related artifacts.
• Own the test strategy for billing across rating, mediation, invoicing, taxation, payments, credits, and residiary hierarchies.
• Design and document test coverage for month-end cycles, including time zones, cutoffs, reruns, and retries.
• Perform revenue-assurance testing by reconciling CDR volumes with invoiced amounts.
• Trace discrepancies to root causes across rating, mediation, or switch-side issues.
• Enforce the requirement intake gate ensuring testable acceptance criteria.
• Establish documentation standards and ensure traceability from requirements to tests.
• Drive the automation roadmap and review code/test suites for ROI.
• Establish and report billing quality metrics and mentor QA engineers.
• Communicate risks with data-backed evidence to stakeholders.
