Sonnedix is seeking an O&M Supervisor for the Librillo Battery Energy Storage System project in Tal Tal, Chile. This hands-on role oversees on-site operations, coordinates contractors, and ensures safe, efficient performance in line with contractual and regulatory requirements.

You will supervise preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance, support commissioning, monitor key performance indicators, and help manage budgets and spares. Chile-based travel within country may be required.

Qualificações

• Degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology or a related discipline.
• Experience in renewable energy operations and maintenance, ideally involving BESS, energy storage or Solar PV plus storage.
• Technical knowledge of Li-ion battery systems, BMS, EMS, PCS/inverters, transformers and LV/MV equipment.
• Strong commitment to health and safety, with experience in LOTO procedures, high-voltage environments and BESS-specific risks.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, conducting on-site testing and carrying out fault diagnostics or Root Cause Analysis.
• Strong fluency with SCADA, EMS/BMS, CMMS/eMaint and digital tools to analyse performance and manage maintenance activities.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee on-site operations and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate specialist contractors and ensure safety and contractual compliance.
• Monitor critical BESS performance indicators and manage maintenance plans, suppliers, spare parts and budgets.
• Support commissioning and operational handover, and assist data-driven decisions.
