Job summary

Envision Energy in Chile is seeking a field service technician to install, commission and maintain battery energy storage systems on site. You will debug, troubleshoot, and support remote diagnostics to ensure reliable operation of storage assets.

The role requires a safety mindset, strong communication, SAP knowledge, and experience in wind energy or construction sectors. This position contributes to asset management as the storage footprint grows and operations are conducted with a strong HSE

Responsibilities

• Install and commission the battery energy storage device according to the process technical requirements.
• Debug the battery energy storage device and troubleshoot faults according to the technical requirements and restore the energy storage system.
• Prepare site plans, organize installation commissioning work.
• Complete energy storage maintenance according to the site leader's arrangements.
• Promote a culture of HSE excellence within the team and company.
• Develop an Operation and Maintenance function to support asset management as the base grows.
• Ensure operational and technical escalations are managed per regulatory, contractual and commercial obligations.
• Identify areas for improvement to enhance system efficiency.
• Assist with phone support and remote diagnostics for customers.
• Maintain Energy Storage Systems through annual checks and repairs.
• Keep up to date with administrative duties such as time sheets and daily logs.
