BairesDev is hiring an AI Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate an Internal Developer Platform focused on generative AI. You will create golden paths and reusable blueprints that empower teams to build, deploy, and manage AI-powered services securely and efficiently, with a low-code front-end for non-technical users.

Formación

• 8+ years of software or platform engineering experience.
• Strong AWS expertise.
• Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Deep knowledge of platform engineering principles (golden paths/blueprints).
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience building templated CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with service scaffolding and catalogs (Backstage).
• Proficiency in Python and English.

AI Platform Engineer at BairesDev

In this role, you'll design, build, and operate an Internal Developer Platform focused on generative AI. You’ll create golden paths and reusable blueprints that allow teams across the organization to build, deploy, and manage AI-powered services securely and efficiently. With a strong product mindset over a traditional SRE approach, you'll develop a self-service platform that abstracts away AI infrastructure complexity, standardizes access to LLMs, and accelerates delivery of AI features into production. This is your opportunity to shape how an entire organization interacts with AI, including building skills for a low-code front-end that empowers non-technical users to provision infrastructure independently.

What You'll Do

• Design and build an Internal Developer Platform focused on generative AI enablement.
• Create golden paths and reusable blueprints for teams to build and deploy AI-powered services.
• Develop self-service platform capabilities that abstract AI infrastructure complexity.
• Standardize LLM access, configuration, and monitoring across the organization.
• Build skills for a low-code Gemini/Claude front-end enabling non-technical users to provision infrastructure and deploy applications.
• Manage infrastructure as code and platform capabilities with a product mindset.

What We Are Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering or platform engineering.
• Strong expertise in AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Deep knowledge of platform engineering principles including golden paths and blueprints.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience building templated CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with service scaffolding and catalogs such as Backstage.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with LLM platform services such as AWS Bedrock configuration.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Product mindset for internal tools.
• Developer Experience (DevEx) focus.
• MLOps experience including model deployment and versioning.
• FinTech industry experience.
• Familiarity with GitOps.
